Customer care representatives are usually able to tell if your connection was dropped, but it is possible that streaming issues will affect your experience. Still, we’re waiting on playMGM New Jersey to implement a more fully-fledged sports live stream.

playMGM App & Mobile Experience

Getting the playMGM sportsbook on your smartphone or tablet is pretty easy, and a good way of betting on your favorite sports from anywhere in New Jersey, even your couch! The mobile app performs very well across all devices, with a few caveats. Firstly, live betting only consists of a static screen displaying the score-- no other information is displayed. Secondly, the app could make better use of the screen space available-- the buttons are all quite large on modern smartphone screens.

playMGM offers some very secure deposit and withdrawal options, but the options are limited for a modern sportsbook. When interacting with customer service for playMGM NJ, we found interactions to be generally helpful and prompt. If you’re looking for direct and immediate information, try looking over their Help section before pinging the 24/7 Live Chat representatives. You’ll usually find answers to your questions there, though we’d like to see the FAQ section expanded to a full webpage instead of just a PDF.

If you have a more involved concern, say with billing or wagering requirements, it would do you best to give them a call during business hours or shoot the customer care team an email. Overall, playMGM New Jersey had a great variety of helpful customer service options available at any time, and email responses were usually received within a business day or two.

This wouldn’t be a complete playMGM sportsbook review without noting some user criticisms. We have read several reviews indicating that the playMGM app can be buggy or crash at some times. Our testing team never experienced this-- it may be due to the users’ connections rather than the app itself.

In addition, some users on the sportsbook have noticed a change in wagering requirements that make it a bit harder to receive their welcome bonuses or free play cash. Again, this is a worthwhile concern, but as this is an industry-wide problem and one not specific to the playMGM service, we don’t give it too much weight.
