Pacman Power Up by Barcrest
Based on the biggest selling video game of all time, Pacman is a great looking machine from Barcrest, and anyone who has played Star Wars A New Hope will recognise the similarities as this is basically a stylish clone of said machine.
Feature entry is gained via a win or enough numbers on the win line, this will then place you on the cash ladder at the position of the win or the value of your numbers. You will usually start at £2.50 or below. Pac Man icons will then be scattered at various positions up the cash ladder, and each one you reach will allow entry to the Pac Man game. Lighting one icon will start you at level one, two icons will be level two, and three icons will be level three. Lighting six icons without losing any will be invincible for mega streak.
  • Pac-Man must clear the maze of all 240 dots and all four energizers to proceed to the next level of difficulty. As Pac-Man eats the dots, the ghosts chase him around the maze and if Pac-Man collides with one of the ghosts, he is a goner. He can eat one of the energizers to turn the ghosts dark blue, which make them edible for him.
  • Fantastic Pac Man £500 Jackpot digital fruit machine 🎰 All working and takes new coins, also has note acceptor. Very tall (approx 210cm) but quite slimline.
As you move around the levels you can gain feature shots, cash pot accumulation, multi-adds, and level progression. Each of the features has a number and the higher the number the better the feature. The features are as follows:
Hot Pursuit
Crazy Chase
Ghost Busta
Pac Attack
High Score
Pinkey's Pac Me
Movin' on Up
Flash Cash
Amazing
Fruit Fever
Speedy's Shots
Pokeys Payouts
Cash Cruncher

Hidden Riches
Bunky's Bonanza

Advancing to the next level can be achieved from either landing on 'advance level' square on the feature game, or by high low gambling on the cash ladder to reach an extra icon. To help you progress on the cash ladder, there is a gamble button that can award any of the following:
Extra Step – Awards 1 step with a maximum of 3
Cash Boost – Boosts the cash ladder.
Super Bonus – Select between: bonus number, icon, boost, extra step, no lose, safe, super 7, extra life. It's probably best to select the extra life.
Extra Icon – Moves you up a level or helps to become invincible.
Bonus Move – Between 1 and 3 moves on the feature.
Mystery – Usually lose or cash or bust.
Bonus Cash – Boosts the cash pot.
Bonus – A random selection of the super bonus list.
If you have steps and a no lose it is possible to progress fairly far as the red numbers are also a no lose gamble, so your no lose will pass over to the next high low. This can also be red awarding two or three no lose gambles. A bit of strategy here could pay dividends.
If you are on level two or level three and pass down a level, you will lose an icon. If you land on a ghost you will most likely get lose, safe, or cash or bust.
The game itself is pretty good and it is forceable for the jackpot should you wish to play it like that. £1 stake also offers a true skill bonus which will always offer feature entry.
